J Balvin used his homecoming Medellín concert to debut his latest Jordan Brand collaboration, this time transforming the Air Jordan 4. Moving away from the gradient sunsets of his previous releases, this unreleased pair opts for a chaotic, patchwork aesthetic filled with colourful panels. Just when we thought J Balvin’s tie-dye Air Jordan 1 from 2020 was too much, this AJ4 definitely takes it up a notch.

The design anchors itself with a rich brown leather mudguard and muted green suede overlays, contrasted by an explosion of pastel pinks, light greens, yellows, and soft blues. A bright blue midsole and lavender accents clash against red and pink hits on the eyelets and mesh netting. Rounding off the design are the cream laces and metallic eyelets. True to his collaborative history, the heel tabs feature split branding: the traditional Nike Air on one side and Balvin’s signature upside-down smiley face on the other.

While Jordan Brand has yet to confirm release details, the onstage reveal follows Balvin’s established pattern of high-energy storytelling rooted in his Colombian heritage. This multi-coloured edition signals a shift toward a heavier, multi-textured maximalism that departs from the usual clean colour blocking. Expect the J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 to drop sometime in 2026 via Nike SNKRS and select UK retailers.
