The Air Jordan 1 High “Bred” returns just nearly two years since the “Patent Bred” edition. The Air Jordan 1 High “Satin Bred” will get a confirmed release date during Summer 2023 as a women’s exclusive. The Jordan Brand previously launched the shoe back in 2016 in extremely limited quantities.
We have no official images of the 2023 retro but we can expect more details ahead of its October 2023 launch. Let’s take a look at the 2016 version below for now.
Aside from the Chicago and Black Toe, the Bred is arguably one of the most popular Air Jordan 1 colourway. The “Satin Bred” colourway uses the iconic black and red colour blocking but with satin fabrics. It boasts a huge difference when you compare it to leather and patent leather.
Notable changes on the shoe include the black metallic lace loops and the outline Jordan Wings logo.
Satin gives off a rather glossy finish but is not as shiny as patent leather cuts.
Other panels such as the red rubber outsole remain the same.
Reliable sources say that the shoe will release on 18th October 2023. Aside from women’s sizes, the Air Jordan 1 High “Satin Bred” will also arrive in Little Kids and Toddler size runs. This will be popular for the ladies who missed out on the 2021 Air Jordan 1 High Patent Bred.
