One Block Down’s Nike Air Max 95 LUX “Italy” collection makes the model’s familiar waves its strongest feature. Padded leather gives those layered panels a rounded, almost upholstered appearance, while four colourways connect the Milan retailer’s Italian identity with a less familiar chapter of Nike Air Max history. The result is a collection whose character comes from its construction as much as its colours.

The original made-in-Italy Air Max 95 LUX arrived in 2001, taking the running silhouette into more premium territory. One Block Down continues that idea with Italian leather, but preserves the curved side panels that make a 95 immediately recognisable. Those raised waves give the upper a fuller shape and create shadows between the layers, adding definition even when the colour stays uniform.
A tonal upper puts the leather and padded contours first. It is the collection’s most restrained option, with the sculpted panels providing its main visual interest.

Bright green near the laces darkens towards the sole, giving the stacked panels a strong sense of depth.

Pale upper sections fade through grey into a dark lower edge, producing the clearest light-to-dark contrast.

A vivid upper gives way to deeper shades below, making the rounded layers particularly prominent against the black sole.

Together, Green, White and Red reference the Italian flag. The connection continues through tricolour details underneath and a chrome accessory shaped like Italy, including Sicily and Sardinia. That accessory revisits the original LUX hangtag, giving the collaboration a direct link to its predecessor. The colourful trio is reserved for One Block Down’s Milan flagship; Black receives the wider release.
The Milan launch is expected on 14 November 2026. Black follows through Nike on 19 November at a confirmed UK price of £184.99; However, the Italian-inspired “Green”, “White” and “Red” colourways have no confirmed UK release as of now.
