Following the conclusion of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 collab in April, rumours talk about an upcoming Air Jordan 3. There have been rumours since 2021 but never really panned out and stayed as rumours. However, this time, sneaker sources suggest that the AJ3 is going to be the next retro with Cactus Jack approval.
So far, no leaked images have surfaced, but this mock-up via @glitchedgarbage and @xcnsnkr would look like a good start to base the design. We have no official release information as of posting. However, we can expect more details to follow. Let’s take a closer look at the mock-up and discuss the possibilities of this release.
Still unconfirmed, rumours say that the Travis Scott Air Jordan 3 will arrive in late 2023 or sometime in early 2024. The mockup features a Mocha-based Air Jordan 3 with a sail white leather base and brown elephant print overlays. Brown PU soles and the black reverse Swoosh on the lateral side complement the theme. This is a signature Travis Scott detail which we’ve seen across all his Nike and Air Jordan collabs.
The mockup also imagines red co-branded Cactus Jack and Jordan Brand logos on the tongue. This is a huge far cry from the mockups when the news broke out in 2021. Nike eventually denied the rumours back then, so we’ll see if we’re really getting the AJ3 this year.
If true, it’s definitely going to break the internet once again. We’re also excited about the next Travis Scott Air Jordan model, whatever that may be.
