Earlier this year, reports began circling the sneakerverse suggesting that Travis Scott’s collaboration with Nike was over. Following the Astroworld Festival crowd crush in 2021, rumours suggested that the Beaverton sportswear company was cutting ties with the Texas-born rapper. However, it looks like these claims couldn’t be further from the truth as the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Golf has just received a confirmed release date.
Marking his sixth take on the low-top Air Jordan, while his other pairs were made with the hardwood in mind, this one makes its way to the green. Borrowing elements from the “Black Phantom,” “Olive,” and the “Reverse Mocha,” this sneaker is works on top of a “Neutral Olive” suede base and is overlaid by “Sail” leather panels throughout.
A backwards Swoosh shoots through the lateral sidewall, while “Light Lemon Twist” accents are stitched on the tongue tag and heel. La Flame’s latest trainer then sits on top of an Air-infused midsole, and comes equipped with a golf-ready outsole that’s a lot grippier compared to its predecessors.
If you want the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Golf FZ3124-200 in your collection, it’s set to drop on October 13th. Let us know what you think of this upcoming colourway, and if you’ve ever wondered how long Air Jordans are meant to last, you can find out here.
