Drake’s NOCTA x Nike Glide Just Leaked in Even More Colourways

After hundreds of leaks, teasers, and rumours, it looks like Drake’s NOCTA x Nike Glide is dropping sooner rather than later. First spotted on the feet of the 6 God himself during a Toronto Raptors game last spring, it has now been revealed in a range of new colourways.

Clearly inspired by Eric Avar’s Zoom Flight 95 from the ’90s, the Glide is something of a spiritual successor. Featuring a breathable mesh construction, the sidewalls are decorated with the ZF95’s signature carbon fibre-like panelling. A rubberised Nike Swoosh glides across the laterals and medials, and additional branding features across the lacing system.

Around the back, you’ll find a woven pull tab for extra convenience. And you just can’t talk about this trainer without mentioning the classic “Bug Eye” midsole underfoot. While Avar’s original design had three “eyes,” Drizzy has added a fourth one for his own rendition.

Not only will the NOCTA Glide release in three black and white colourways, it will also drop in all-green and all-red. Rumour has it that a University of Kentucky-themed pair will also be in the works as a nod to Champagne Papi’s favourite college basketball team.

Expect the NOCTA x Nike Glide to drop within the next few weeks. Let us know what you think of this retro-inspired silhouette, and while you’re here, you might as well take your first look at the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 “Black”!
