The Nike Air Max 97 Futura represents a significant departure from Christian Tresser’s original vision. Unlike its Air Max 90-shaped counterpart, the 97 version features a taller and bulkier design. It also incorporates a platform-sized sole and various construction tweaks, such as rearranged paneling, extra padding around the heel and collar, and a concealed placket.
