This is another Air Jordan release you wouldn’t want to miss out on. The Air Jordan 1 Low “Green Toe” boasts a similar colour blocking to a classic – but this time it’s making a name for its own.
The sneaker world forever changed with the arrival of the Air Jordan 1 in 1985. The Air Jordan 1 was introduced as the first signature basketball silhouette of the one and only Michael Jordan. Various design inspiration from other Nike hoops models allowed designer Peter Moore to give the Air Jordan 1 unique features to set it apart from the rest.
As the model grows in popularity, the Air Jordan 1 also arrived in a low-top version. The J1 Low ditched the padded ankle collar to reduce the restricted feel of the performance basketball shoe. The Jumpman Wings logo disappeared, paving the way for the big Swoosh to work its wonders.
The Air Jordan 1 usually features a leather upper on most colourways. There are three popular renditions of the model for you to choose from. The original Highs are usually the most popular and hard to get nowadays, while the Mids feature a lower ankle collar for less ankle stiffness. Meanwhile, the Air Jordan 1 Low is the perfect option for sneakerheads looking for a quick and easy J to rock.
The rubber cupsole hides an Air unit in the heel for cushioning. Underneath the outsole is the concentric traction pattern with stars on the toe section for reliable grip on all surfaces.
This Air Jordan 1 Low “Green Toe” sports Noble Green accents on the vamp, foxing, heel panel, and outsole. The White quarter is surrounded by Black overlays for a nice complementary touch.
A yellow Jumpman logo on the tongue adds a little “Supersonics” vibe to the silhouette.
Stay tuned for its release on the Nike website and select retailers in November 2021.
