Korn’s history with adidas dates back many, many decades. Back in March 1997, the American nu metal band released the song “A.D.I.D.A.S.” as part of its second studio album Life is Peachy. While the German giant originally thought that it was about their sneakers and clothing, it turned out to be an acronym for “all day I dream about sex.” Almost three decades after this track hit the charts, the duo have united for the first time for the Korn x adidas Campus 00s.
Featuring a monochromatic aesthetic, the Campus 00s boasts a slick black suede construction and is contrasted with white leather detailing throughout. The rubber midsole underfoot has also been completely blacked out, and it’s lined with a gum rubber outsole for extra grip, whether you’re walking the streets or singing your heart out on stage.
“Korn” and “Campus” is written in an archaic font, and to finish it all off, illustrative artwork tiptoes onto the insoles as a homage to Life Is Peachy, and each pair comes with a custom keychain that’s designed to look like a guitar pick.
Alongside the Korn x Adidas Campus 00s IG0792, the collaboration will also include a Supermodified trainer, T-shirts, hoodies, and tracksuits, each with the group’s logo and album artwork. Expected to launch on October 27th, make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop!
