One of the long-awaited shoes this past year. This Nike SB Dunk Low finally lands in 2022. The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Chlorophyll” borrows a classic colour scheme found from two iconic trainers; the original from the Nike Air Trainer 1 and the 2018 Air Jordan 3 release. It’s back once more in this rendition of the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro!

Some colourways bring unforgettable memories to a lot of sneakerheads. Classics like the Black/Red and White/Black are immortalised hues on sneakers. But there are underrated yet stunning makeovers like the Chlorophyll, which first graced the Nike Air Trainer 1 way back in 1987.

Inspired by gym equipment in YMCA courts, the “Chlorophyll” colourway mixes green and grey with hints of white and black on the upper. This makes up for a solid blend of colours suitable for an overall sporty vibe. And what else needs a sporty vibe? Well, none other than the Nike SB Dunk Low of course.

The Nike Dunk is a pivotal piece of footwear. Coming out in 1985 as a basketball shoe, the Dunks transitioned from hardwood courts to streetwear culture. Apparently, skaters found a liking to the lightweight and sturdy leather build of the Nike Dunk; which eventually became a staple footwear choice in skateboarding.

Nike saw immense love and support for the Nike Dunk, so in 2002, Nike launched the SB label. The same year, the Nike Dunk took on a full skateboard form in the Nike SB Dunk. The Nike SB Dunk features a thicker, more padded tongue, Zoom Air unit in the heel, and a narrower traction pattern.

The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Chlorophyll” features a white leather body with perforations all throughout. Black suede overlays make up the toe and bottom eyestay, while Grey appears on the eyestay, rear, outsole, and heel panel.

One of the most awaited Nike Dunk releases this year. Expect a January 2022 launch on this heat low-tops.
