A welcome addition to the vintage-themed Waffle trainers! The Nike Waffle One launched in 2021 and fully showcased Nike’s running heritage with its low-cut build and lightweight upper. The transparent mesh makes up the base, while suede overlays reinforce the toe, eyestay, and heel. With a thin transparent mesh, the leather Swoosh further stabilises the upper.
Modern features such as the asymmetrical tongue and rigid double-stacked plastic heel clip arrive for the new era.
A thick foam midsole provides decent cushioning solid enough to keep you comfortable all day. Underneath is the namesake waffle traction sole.
This Nike Waffle One SE “Pro Green / Rust Oxide” appears in a Green transparent mesh base with Orange suede overlays. Grid-like patterns can be seen all over the mesh.
