The Nike Blazer Low just keeps getting updates after updates thanks to various brand collabs. This Nike Blazer Low x ACRONYM “Night Maroon / Lemon Venom” brings the Munich-based brand’s technical design aesthetic to a new level. We’ve never seen anything quite like this, especially on the Nike Blazer.

Nike and ACRONYM teamed up in 2014 under the NikeLab label. With utility and function in mind, ACRONYM co-founder Errolson Hugh reimagined various Nike footwear icons. From zippers, shrouds, waterproof fabrics, and exaggerated overlays, Nike x ACRONYM trainers were really beyond basic comprehension. They combined function and style in one – making sure that people take another look and fill their eyes with curiosity.

Through the years, ACRONYM never shied away from futuristic designs that serve various purposes. Debuted in 1994, co-founders Errolson Hugh and Michaela Sachenbacher literally redefined footwear and apparel technologies and incorporated them into their products.

After various updates and reworks on Nike models such as the Nike Air Force 1, Air Presto, and Vapormax, ACRONYM is back for more. This time, they chose the ever-so-popular Nike Blazer.

The Nike Blazer came out in 1973 as Nike’s leading basketball shoe together with the Bruin. Appearing in both high-top and low-top forms, the Blazer reignited itself as a staple lifestyle shoe. Its collab with ACRONYM in 2022 is one of the most ambitious and most daring reworks yet.

This Nike Blazer Low x ACRONYM “Night Maroon / Lemon Venom” features a Maroon suede body with various cut-outs on the upper. Volt hues on the Swoosh, lining, and heel panel add more life to the shoe. A rigid and thick plastic heel counter covers the entire heel where various logos and ACRONYM labels reside.

More Nike x ACRONYM tags adorn the tongue with an exposed foam on the lining.

The rubber sole stays true to form, as well as the herringbone traction pattern.

Stay tuned for its official launch in early February 2022.
