Previewed last year, another adidas Yeezy 700 MNVN arrives in 2022. The adidas Yeezy 700 MNVN “Geode” joins the handful of adidas Yeezy releases during the first quarter of the year. Unlike the Yeezy Boost 350 V2, Foam Runner, and even the Yeezy Slide, the 700 MNVN goes under the radar in terms of hype. Despite that, new colourways continue appearing with less hype than it’s counterparts.

Following last years popular “Honey Flux” drop, four more Yeezy 700 MNVN land in 2022. Including this “Geode” rendition, the likes of “Metallic”, “Resin”, and “Wash Cream” boast Spring-ready hues. All destined to be sell outs when they retail in the next few months.

Living up to its namesake, the “Geode” colourway makes use of a Black dominant design; Amethyst hues make up the padded nylon upper – similar to how geodes reveal the purple crystals once opened inside. Black hues cover the tongue, forefoot overlays, lining, eyestay, and the entire sole unit of the shoe.

A silver 700 label on the lateral side features a reflective detail under optimal lighting conditions. Silver hits can also be found on the forefoot and rear sections to accompany the design.

Yeezy and adidas labels hide on the sockliner.

Inside the thick and chunky EVA foam midsole is the beloved full-length Boost foam midsole. Some sections of the Boost can be seen on the outsole.

A herringbone traction pattern with multiple flex grooves completes the design on the bottom.
