After the incredibly successful first wave of the Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape, serious new colourways are begining to surface. Nike launches the Air Max 90 Terrascape “ACG”. An ACG inspired rendition takes it back to the glory days of Nike’s All-Conditions Gear label with trail-ready hues. Not only do we get a new flavour, but we’re also seeing a completely different version from the rest! Gone are the ripstop mesh base and semi-translucent TPU eyestays.
Let’s go further into the details of this newly-surfaced colourway expected to drop in the next few months.
Anyone who has been following the fresh AM90 Terrascape for quite some time will quickly notice the updated upper. Breathable mesh makes its way back to the revolutionary 90s trainer, replacing the ripstop mesh found on all previous launches.
Grey mesh makes up the base of the upper, while pebbled leather comprises the overlays on the toe and midfoot. Dark Grey adorns the suede forefoot rand as well as the mudguard.
ACG vibes can be found on the Teal Swoosh as well as the Purple TPU eyestays. The return of solid TPU eyestays also boasts a different makeover as all of the previous releases came with semi-translucent ones. Quite a subtle yet noticeable change for this sustainability-focused sneaker.
More Teal details appear on the tongue labels and the heel pull tab. A yellowish heel panel made out of Nike Grind rubber add another unique design aesthetic,
The same semi-translucent sole unit features a TPU cage covering the Crater Foam midsole. Below, speckles spread throughout the rubber outsole.
