The Nike ZoomX VaporFly Next% 3 “Hyper Pink” DV4130-600 is tailored for road racing, equipped with a full-length carbon fibre flyplate for a propulsive sensation, enhancing forward movement.
Its midsole utilises updated Nike ZoomX foam, extending from heel to toe. This foam delivers greater energy return, providing a springy, buoyant feel. The midsole’s design, featuring a bulge near the heel, reduces weight on the foot’s inside, improving stability.
The upper is constructed with Flyknit yarns and engineered zones in the forefoot, prioritising breathability and support. This results in a fit that adapts to the foot, maintaining coolness and a secure grip.
Significant updates in the VaporFly 3 include a slimmer outsole rubber, which reduces weight without compromising durability. This change enables the addition of more ZoomX foam, enhancing underfoot cushioning and smoothing stride transitions.
Additional attributes comprise light padding on the tongue to alleviate lace pressure, a new waffle outsole pattern with perforations for versatile traction, and an offset heel seam to reduce friction in the heel area. The shoe also features a wider toe area and an internal foam pod at the heel for increased cushioning.
