Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past two years or so, you’d know that – thanks to Crocs – mules are insanely popular right now. And while we never thought that the Air Jordan 1 Golf Mule “Bred” would ever be a real thing, Jordan Brand has just taken the wraps off of it. And suddenly, everyone who swore that they’d never get a pair of mules wants a pair.
Based off of the legendary “Bred” from 1985, which was one of Michael Jordan’s first sneakers ever when he signed with Nike, this Air Jordan 1 Mule boasts a full leather construction that’s sleek and smooth to the touch. Painted in black and red tones, it’s a classic colour combination that’s as iconic as ever.
However, unlike the legendary “Bred” from 1985, the entire collar and ankle section has been completely scooped out, resulting in a slide-like shape. You also won’t find any laces here so you won’t be able to tighten or loosen these while on the go. That’s because they’re made purely for relaxing. All of this then sits on top of an Air-infused midsole, and just in case you want to play some golf in these, the rubber outsole has been fully reworked so it’s a lot grippier than before.
If you’re feeling brave and you want the Air Jordan 1 Golf Mule “Bred” in your collection, it’s set drop on February 2nd. Make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop!
