Supreme and Nike go way back. In fact, when the first Nike SB Dunk collab was introduced back in 2002, it was the New York City streetwear label’s name that was attached to it. So, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that, over two decades later, the first collab to hit the all-new Nike Air Max Dn would be the Supreme x Nike Air Max Dn “Black.” It’s a full circle moment.
Just like the freshly-announced “All Night” and “Panda,” James Jebbia’s version of the lifestyle silhouette features an all-black mesh construction that’s seriously stealthy. However, unlike those two colourways, this is decorated with a massive “Supreme” logo across the lateral sidewall, just to remind everyone that this isn’t any old Air Max Dn.
You’ll also find “Galactic Jade” accents across the tongue and heel, and underfoot, the trainer sits on top of the much-discussed Dynamic Air midsole that’s meant to be even more comfortable than conventional Air tech. It’s then finished off with a TPU shank clip for added resilience and support, and all of this is packed in a special co-branded shoebox.
Not much else is known about the Supreme x Nike Air Max DN “Black” at this moment in time, but it’s expected to drop sometime in Spring 2024 alongside a bunch of other colourways. If you want a pair in your collection this season, make sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop.
