First Look: Nike Air Max 95 Ultra “Black Crimson” DX2658-001

This sleek and toned-down version of the Nike Air Max 95 returns with a classic Black and Red makeover. Flexing a stealthy base, the iconic trainer features eye-catching Bright Red hues on the brand labels. Dubbed the Nike Air Max 95 Ultra “Black Crimson”, various Nike and Air Max logos adorn the shoe. Topographic patterns on the tongue, heel, and cored-out section on the outsole suggest that the trainer is part of the “Topography Pack”.

While we have no release date, let’s check out all the impressive details on this colourway. Expect its release sometime in 2022 as we already have these official photos uploaded online.

-Mesh makes up the slimmed-down construction of the shoe; with fuse overlays on the wavy panels as reinforcement. The leather toe cap adds to the overall durability of this trainer. Internal padding that makes up the eyestay appears prominently as the layers on the upper decreased.

Holographic-like accents consisting of Nike and Air Max labels make up the layers with topographic prints. There are also plus signs on the patterns.

The tongue features the same holographic print with vibrant Bright Crimson on the Air Max label. Lace loops on the middle feature more Air Max branding.

The outsole features a modified waffle traction pattern and also boasts the topographic design on the open midfoot portion. The slim layer between the midsole and outsole gives the Air Max units on the heel and forefoot more bounce; directly making contact with the foot for improved cushioning.
