After checking out the Air Max 90 “British Tan” just last week, Nike has now unearthed another fall-friendly sneaker with the upcoming Nike Air Max 1 “Cacao Wow.” One of the latest colourways to hit the Tinker Hatfield classic, this is a must-cop for every collection.
One of the first things that you’ll notice about this Air Max 1 is that the materials seem a lot more premium compared to other pairs. The tightly-knit “Hemp” mesh base, for example, looks more intricate, and the “Dusted Clay” suede overlays the wraps around the sidewalls and heel look buttery smooth. Even the “Cacao Wow” leather on the Swoosh and mudguard looks even more luxurious than ever before. Nike has really pull out all the stops for this one.
Complementary cotton laces tie everything together, and down below, the trainer sits atop a “Light Orewood Brown” midsole that’s infused with the American sportswear company’s critically-acclaimed Air technology. It’s then lined with a “Black” rubber outsole for added grip during the wet and windy months.
Surprisingly, the Nike Air Max 1 “Cacao Wow” is actually dropping much sooner than expected. Previously rumoured to be releasing sometime in autumn, it’s now set to launch in Spring 2024. This is going to sell out fast, so make sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop.
