Last summer, Nike unleashed the Nike Blazer Phantom Mid into the world. A deconstructed take on the ’70s basketball classic, it became an instant success overnight. Fast forward to today, and the American sportswear company is ready to reveal its shining successor with the Nike Blazer Phantom Low “Goddess of Victory” – and this is a sneaker that you’ll be seeing a lot of very soon.
Giving the low-top silhouette the Phantom treatment, this special colourway pays homage to Nike, the Greek goddess of victory. Boasting a pristine “White” leather construction, it’s made up of both smooth and cracked textures for a look that is sure to turn heads wherever you go. A light grey suede mudguard embraces the entire trainer, with sleek lines and curves that seem to pay homage to the historic sculptures that you might find in an art museum.
An oversized Swoosh wraps around the lateral and medial sidewalls in red, and these actually join around the heel to form a pull tab. All of this then sits on top of a chunky gum rubber midsole, which offers the perfect balance between comfort and traction. The “Goddess of Victory” theme is further celebrated through unique design touches, such as Nike’s statue depicted on the cork insoles and an exclusive leather hangtag, bringing a sense of power and triumph to the wearer.
The Nike Blazer Phantom Low “Goddess of Victory” is expected to drop sometime in Summer 2024 alongside a bunch of other colourways. Let us know if you’ll be adding these to your warm weather rotation, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop!
