Nike Air Force 1 Low "Brushstroke Swoosh Yellow" DX2646-100

With over 40 years in the market, surely Nike will run out of ideas for the Air Force 1. Then they will move on from the shoe and then focus on other, more modern trainers. Wrong! Every month, we get new renditions of the popular trainer and Nike does not seem to slow down at all. This Nike Air Force 1 Low “Brushstroke Swoosh Yellow” puts a twist on the iconic Swoosh; showcasing a yellow brushstroke underneath a transparent TPU Swoosh.

2022 marks the Nike Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary. No wonder Nike’s releasing special-edition AF1s left and right. The classic basketball shoe paved the way for other hoops shoes from the 80s to transition to lifestyle and streetwear.

The Nike Air Force 1’s legendary run began in 1982 when Nike introduced Nike Air in a basketball shoe. With its immense popularity, the brand launched the AF1 Low a year later. Hip-hop and streetwear cultures adopted the shoe when newer basketball trainers arose; making the Air Force 1 more famous outside basketball.

2022 celebrates 40 years of the Nike Air Force 1. Notable collabs include the extremely limited Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 by the late Virgil Abloh; the debut colourway is the first of many colourways designed by the Off-White founder himself. All are set to release later on in the year in extremely limited quantities.

This Nike Air Force 1 Low “Brushstroke Swoosh Yellow” boasts an all-white leather upper with a White midsole and rubber outsole. Basically the Triple Whites but with vibrant hues of Yellow on the tongue and suede heel. A brushstroke Swoosh appears underneath the TPU Swoosh cover for a unique display of creativity.
