You won’t have to worry about the midsoles yellowing when it’s already that way! Jordan Brand looks back at the Air Jordan 1’s heritage in this brand new rendition. The Air Jordan 1 Low “Vintage Grey” goes for a clean and classic two-tone finish headlined by a vintage cupsole. Looking like a pair straight from 1985; except this is the modern version of the Air Jordan 1 Low and not the OG rendition.
Aside from the High, the Air Jordan 1 Low continues to build up hype each month with new colourways. This “Vintage Grey” makeover joins the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Stealth” in the new Jordan Brand Vintage Pack. Both pairs utilise White and Grey hues with yellowish midsoles. Great pairs for the scorching hot summer season.
The Air Jordan 1 began its origin story in 1985 when Michael Jordan finally got his own signature basketball shoe; moving on from the Nike Air Ships which got banned for violating NBA uniform policy.
Leather comprises the upper of the shoe, with a nylon tongue and a rubber cupsole. Swooshes on the sides, Jordan Wings on the collar, and Nike Air labels on the tongue and sockliner became iconic details of the Air Jordan 1.
The Air Jordan 1 Low features the Jordan Wings on the heel panel. Jumpman on the tongue appears on modern pairs.
This Air Jordan 1 Low “Vintage Grey” features a White leather base with Grey overlays. The yellowing midsole stays true to the “Vintage Grey” theme of this colourway.
A Grey rubber outsole finishes off the summer-ready makeover of this Air Jordan 1 Low.
Stay tuned for this release in July 2022 on Nike.
