First Look at the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Sense 96 SP

Paris Fashion Week never disappoints when it comes to high-profile sneaker reveals, and this year is no exception. COMME des GARÇONS and Nike have worked together multiple times in the past, and for their next collaboration, they’re taking on a high-heat hybrid with the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Sense 96 SP. Dropping as part of the Japanese fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, this trainer has been revealed in three clean colourways, including a “Triple Black” version, a “Triple White” one, and one that’s covered with neon pink accents.

If you’ve never heard of the Sense 96 SP, we really don’t blame you. A masterful blend between the past and the present, this silhouette combines the upper of the iconic Air Max 96 with the advanced ISPA Sense tooling. Designed by Sergio Lozano, the original AM96 was renowned for its anatomical aesthetic, featuring pointed medials and lateral panels inspired by ocean waves. Traditionally equipped with Air sole units in the forefoot and heel, the new iteration incorporates ISPA (Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt) technology to enhance traction and durability on various surfaces.

One of the defining features of this CDG project is its fusion of materials and textures. The uppers combine mesh and synthetic overlays, providing breathability and support. The midsole, which has been etched with a series of intricate grooves, promises a comfortable and adaptive ride, making it suitable for various terrains and activities.

As mentioned, the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Sense 96 SP will drop as part of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, so expect it to hit shelves sometime within the first half of next year.
