The Air Jordan 17 Low “UNC” Returns with Premium Packaging

The Air Jordan 17 Low, a silhouette that originally debuted during Michael Jordan’s short stint with the Washington Wizards, is set to make its highly anticipated comeback this year with the Air Jordan 17 Low “UNC.” While this is an ultra clean colourway in its own right, it’s also one that’s inspired by MJ’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina, making it even more special.

Boasting a crisp palette, this Air Jordan sneaker works on top of a premium leather base that’s painted entirely in “White,” while “University Blue” hues make their way to the Dynamic Fit inner. This special feature has been specifically designed to offer enhanced support, so not only is it extremely stylish, it’s also very functional on the basketball court.

To stay true to the original look from 2002, the “UNC” will also return with the OG “Chrome” eyelets. All of this then rests on top of a chunky midsole, that’s infused with a full-length shank plate and a TPU heel stabiliser for added stability and comfort. The unit is then housed in Nike‘s Phylon foam, and it’s finished off with the legendary herringbone pattern that guarantees optimal grip.

What sets 2024’s Air Jordan 17 Low “UNC” apart is the inclusion of premium packaging, which is reminiscent of the original Air Jordan 17’s briefcase-inspired box. Set to launch on August 28th, let us know if you’ll be adding these to your collection, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
