Every year, adidas honours Mexico’s Day of the Dead with a special “Dia De Los Muertos” Collection – and this year is no different. Featuring two legendary silhouettes including the Samba OG and Crazychaos 2000, make sure you read on to find out everything that we know so far.
The Samba OG comes in two clean colourways including “Cloud White” and “Core Black.” The upper is crafted from premium leather, and is overlaid by buttery suede panels throughout. The Crazychaos 2000 also arrives in a duo of monochromatic palettes, and works on top of a chunky breathable mesh base that’s inspired by the original Y2K silhouette.
Both trainers are decked out with bold stitching and a bouquet of marigolds that are commonly used on altars during the holiday. They’re then finished off with the traditional sugar skull motif that’s prominently displayed on the tongues and insoles. These symbols, integral to Dia De Los Muertos, are intricately crafted, blending seamlessly with the vibrant orange, fuchsia, and green colour combination that runs throughout the entire collection.
Set to drop on September 27th at select adidas retailers, both in-store and online, including adidas.com, the adidas “Dia De Los Muertos” Collection is a must-cop. Let us know which silhouette you’re feeling the most, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
