A Closer Look at the adidas Superstar Vintage “Croc”

This year, the Superstar is celebrating its 55th birthday. And to mark this massive milestone, adidas has unleashed the adidas Superstar Vintage “Croc.” Giving the classic silhouette an ultra luxe makeover, you’ve probably never seen a colourway quite like this.

Working on top of a “Fox Brown” base, the usual smooth leather has now been replaced with faux croc skin that looks unbelievably premium. “Core Black” hues hit the Three Stripes, heel tab, and Shelltoe, adding contrast and structure to the textured base.

Inside, soft tan linings keep things comfortable while playing into the earthy colour palette, and retro gold “Superstar” lettering along the side adds the final nod to the model’s heritage. Down below, the signature midsole has been totally blacked out.
