adidas’ Cutting-Edge 3D-Printed Slip-On is the Future of Footwear

adidas is set to push the boundaries of footwear design once again with the release of its 3D-printed slip-on shoe. This new silhouette, which has yet to be named, features a one-piece 3D-printed construction. Not only is it a great representation of what sneakers might look like in a few years time, it also marks the latest project from the brand’s legendary Futurecraft initiative.

The entire upper and midsole are both crafted from 3D-printed materials, delivering a lightweight and breathable experience that incorporates Climacool technology for enhanced airflow. With its distinctly minimalist and sculpted aesthetic, it may remind some of the adiFOM Infinity. However, this trainer is actually a fresh concept altogether, and is sure to turn heads wherever you go.

“Core Black” Three Stripe branding graces the lateral and medial sidewalls, and the sneaker is finished off with a single adidas logo that’s etched on the bottom of the sole. All of this then comes packed in eco-friendly packaging to keep in line with the release’s environmentally-conscious theme.

adidas’ cutting-edge 3D-printed slip-on is set to drop sometime in 2025. Even more colourways are expected to be revealed, so make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps to find out everything that you need to know.
