adidas is Dropping Even More Yeezys in March

Earlier this month, adidas made the surprise announcement that it will be releasing the rest of its Yeezy inventory after all. This has been a point of contention for the German sportswear giant. On one side, selling Kanye West-branded trainers almost makes it look like they’re supporting him and his anti semitic views. But on the other side, keeping them in storage will, no doubt, result in major financial losses for the brand, and it will also stir up many issues surrounding sustainability and the environment. With these two points in mind, the Herzogenaurach-based company has revealed that they will be dropping everything they have, and will donate a portion of the proceeds to charities and organisations that were affected by Ye’s racist remarks.

Kicking off the series of releases, sneakerheads can look forward to the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Steel Grey,” which is an all-new colourway. Additionally, adidas has plans to expand the line-up with the release of the Yeezy Foam Runner, Yeezy Slide, Yeezy 500, and another version of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2, ensuring a diverse and appealing collection for those with different styles and aesthetics.

It will be available exclusively through adidas digital platforms. This includes the adidas website, app, and notably, the CONFIRMED app, signaling a shift towards direct-to-consumer sales and leaving traditional retailers out of the distribution for these drops.

As March 2024 approaches, the anticipation builds for what is poised to be a significant moment for adidas and the Yeezy legacy, promising a season filled with sought-after releases and exclusive digital-first shopping experiences. Be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to cop.
