adidas SPZL and Oasis Link Up Again On a Double Exclusive for the Japan Tour

adidas SPZL continues its deep connection with Oasis, unveiling two Japan-exclusive drops to coincide with the Live ’25 Tokyo tour—one tied to Noel Gallagher and another to Liam Gallagher.

The NG Marathon SPZL returns following its sell-out debut, this time in a new colourway that nods to the black and red Marathon 85 once worn by Noel. Those tones have been reworked through a SPZL lens, staying true to the roots of the silhouette and Noel’s personal history with the Marathon 85. His portrait appears on the tongue branding, with co-branded sock liners, Japanese exclusive packaging, and spare laces.

Joining it is the LG Achille SPZL, a second colourway created in collaboration with Liam Gallagher. At Liam’s request, the new edition flips and reverses the colours of the first LG Achille SPZL release and adds a dark gum outsole for balance. Liam’s portrait, finished in bluebird and white, features on the tongue branding, while Japanese-branded sock liners, packaging, and spare laces complete the pack.

Distribution has been kept deliberately limited. The NG Marathon SPZL Japan Exclusive launched through adidas CONFIRMED Japan and a hand-picked selection of stockists including ATMOS, DSM Ginza, UNDEFEATED, BEAMS, and H BEAUTY & YOUTH (United Arrows). Raffles opened on Wednesday, 17th September at 10:00am local time, with a public release following on Wednesday, 24th September at 9:00am local time.

For collectors outside Japan, it’s one of those releases that will be difficult to source without a fat wallet!
