Korn and adidas go way back. During the American nu metal band’s 1993 to 1997 era, they frequently wore the German sportswear brand on-stage. In fact, they even have a track called “A.D.I.D.A.S,” which stands for something a little more provocative. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the Korn x adidas Superstar is back, this time with a fresh lick of paint and a revamped design.
This limited edition Superstar boasts a “Core Black” leather upper and is contrasted with white Three Stripes, nodding to the classic adidas design. Co-branded overlays reflect Korn’s musical legacy, and the right heel is actually stamped with the group’s name in their signature font. Inside, the sneakers come with custom insoles that are decorated with album-inspired artwork, and each pair comes with a special guitar pick hangtag.
Just like its first two collaborations with adidas, this one comes with a full apparel collection. This includes things like T-shirts, hoodies, socks, totes, and beanies. But the highlight of the range has got to be the plaid jacket that’s fully reversible, resulting in a versatile yet rebellious edge.
Dropping on October 25th, the third Korn x adidas collaboration captures the spirit of the band’s early days while blending it seamlessly with streetwear aesthetics. Let us know if you’ll be going for it, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
