Campus

Adidas has a long list of lifestyle icons in their brand back catalogue, and that includes the adidas Campus. It’s one of the most popular kicks and continues to release in old and new styles! Whether you rock them casually or as a skateboard shoe, we all know it’s a versatile option.

The adidas Campus originally came out in the 70s as a basketball shoe. It’s low-top, made of suede, has a vulcanised sole, and is pretty durable for sports. Back then, it was called the adidas Tournament. In the 80s, the brand renamed the shoe as Campus and became another classic lifestyle and skateboarding option.

It may not be as popular as the similar-looking Gazelle, but the Campus is still a solid option if you want something different.

Adidas brought the shoe back to life in 2017 and continues to be a mainstay shoe in the adidas Originals catalogue.

Some iconic collabs include the Towelie from South Park as part of the 420 celebration; XLARGE, and the upcoming Bad Bunny update.

There’s just something different about canvas-based shoes, and the Campus delivers well. It’s still popular when you ask adidas fans, it just needs more releases!

With more collabs and new colourways expected soon, we can hope that the shoe will be more widely available everywhere.

It’s a must-try shoe and will last you years.
