Air Jordan 11

This shoe does not need an introduction! The Air Jordan 11 is as legendary as His Airness himself, and the amount of hype for this pair never fades. Below we listed some of the most recent Air Jordan 11 releases.

Who could ever forget Michael Jordan’s favourite Air Jordan model of all time? Aside from starting the Chicago Bulls’ second Three-peat with this shoe, the Air Jordan 11 is a well-crafted sneaker. No wonder it’s one of the most popular Air Jordan Retros, long before MJ himself said that the J11 is his favourite.

The Air Jordan 11 originally came out in 1996 and features the first patent leather on a basketball shoe. Tinker Hatfield made this possible when he talked to Michael Jordan and MJ wanted a shoe he can wear with tuxedos.

Tinker already had a prototype in mind, back when MJ retired and his return was uncertain. The finished product looked so good that MJ rocked the J11 long before its release. MJ eventually wore the iconic Air Jordan 11 “Concord” throughout the following season.

The Air Jordan 11 features a ballistic mesh upper with glossy patent leather mudguards. A full-length Nike Air unit provides that bouncy cushioning, while the carbon fibre plate gives a lot of torsional support. Most colourways appear with translucent icy outsoles to showcase the plate and Jumpman logo.

A lot of Jordan fans and sneakerheads consider OG J11 colourways as grails. It’s such a beloved shoe that Jordan Brand dedicates the holiday season with annual Air Jordan 11 releases. This has been going on since 2008, making a lot of fans excited for the year-end release.

Whether you love the Bred, Concord, Space Jam, or even the Cool Grey, there’s always that specific J11 flavour to your liking. It’s comfortable and incredibly supportive, too! We won’t be surprised if you even decide to play basketball with this shoe.
