Just when we thought the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Flea 1 was the most bizarre sneaker in recent memory, the fashion label has taken things further with a new silhouette. Earlier CPFM x Nike collabs like the VaporMax in 2019 were very much wearable, offering the brand’s signature designs on a Nike shoe. The Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Flea 2, however, brings maximalist details to the iconic waffle sole invented by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman.
Aside from re-releasing OG colourways and new impressive styles, another sure-fire way to grab attention in the sneaker world is by releasing controversial silhouettes. Seemingly taking a page from MSCHF’s playbook, this CPFM x Nike Air Flea 2 is by all means unique. This laceless shoe features two large straps which can be designed with various embellishments, including an oversized Swoosh.
Cactus Plant Flea Market’s Yin-Yang logo makes up the co-branded tongue along with Flea 2 labels on the heel. The biggest highlight, however, is none other than the large waffle sole. This outdoor-inspired outsole ensures grip on any surface, and it’s quite durable too!
We have no official release details about this Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Flea 2, but it’s definitely going to be limited just like previous CPFM x Nike collabs.
