Jordan Brand is continuing its journey to mix and match popular colourways with the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Retro “Aqua.” Inspired by the Air Jordan 8 of the same name, which Michael Jordan wore during the 1993 All-Star Game, while this pair isn’t expected to come back anytime soon, the Air Jordan 6 variant is a great alternative.
If you’re a fan of the Charlotte Hornets or any sports teams donning these colours, this is a must-cop pair. So let’s take our first look yet.
Similar to the OG colourway, the Air Jordan 6 “Aqua” has an all-black suede upper, covering the TPU tongue, laces, and rubber pull tab. Purple accents make their way to the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the heel tab. The main highlight of the shoe is none other than the “Aqua” PU midsole. Purple and light blue accents combine to form a cool-coloured design, minus the brushstroke graphics seen on AJ8.
The signature icy blue portions on the outsole remain, with the purple Jumpman on the midfoot area highlights the iconic design.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro “Aqua” CT8529-004 is set to drop on October 7th. Expected to be extremely limited, make sure you keep it locked for all of the latest release info.
