While Air Max Day is only celebrated during March, Nike’s appreciation for the legendary Air Max 1 runs all-year long! The Swoosh brand has emerged with another AM1, further expanding the already heavy lineup in 2023. Below we have official images of the upcoming Nike Air Max 1 “Aura.” This is a womens-exclusive colourway dressed in denim and corduroy fabrics. This joins others in the roster like the “Volt Topography” and “Tan Lines.” With its assorted denim accents, this is the perfect shoe to match with jeans!
The “Aura” boasts the ultimate streetwear vibe with its denim base and light denim overlays covering the midfoot and heel. “Sail” white corduroy fabrics adorn the mudguard, with soft orange stitching that stands out. Complementary accents make up the laces and the tongue features exposed foam on the edges, just like the Blazer.
Nike branding is embroidered on the tongue tag and heel, and the PU midsole has a creamy white tone that contrasts the corduroy layer above it. Inside there’s a visible Air unit in the heel, delivering that bouncy comfort.
The navy waffle sole wraps up this denim-clad Air Max 1 colourway, which we can expect to drop sometime later this year.
