The flurry of upcoming Nike Kobe sneakers can be credited to the relaunch of Kobe’s signature line on Mamba Day in August. Joining the growing roster of returning Kobe signature shoes is the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Italian Camo.” This colourway is a nod to Italian military uniforms as Kobe spent his childhood days in Italy.
Going for a serpentine approach, the “Italian Camo” is a one-to-one remake of 2011’s version. Featuring olive green and brown tones all over the upper, the rear panel and heel counter maintain the stealthy makeover, appearing in black and dark green. Vibrant orange tones adorn the Swooshes, Kobe logo, signature, and the tongue lining.
The Nike Kobe 6 Protro has cushioning upgrades, now featuring a Zoom Air Turbo unit in the forefoot. Previous Nike Kobe 6 Protro colourways instantly sold out because of their limited quantities. So it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise if this one does too!
