Everything You Need to Know About the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black Toe Reimagined”

At the end of last year, rumours began spreading across the sneakerverse suggesting that the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black Toe Reimagined” was in the works. And while many people just assumed that it would be a one-to-one recreation of the pair from back in the day, it looks like that won’t be the case. If you want these in your rotation this year, make sure you read on to find out everything that you need to know.

Featuring the classic “Black Toe” colourblocking, this Air Jordan 1 works on top of a crisp “White” base and is overlaid by panels and panels of “Black” and “Varsity Red” throughout. If you didn’t know any better, you’d easily assume that this was the OG from the ’80s. However, upon closer inspection, you’ll find that there’s so much more than meets the eye.

Unlike the “Lost & Found” which was a faithful remake of the “Chicago,” the “Black Toe Reimagined” switches thing up a little, specicially around the collar section. Unlike the original version, this one replaces the usual winged basketball emblem with “Nike Air” instead. While this might seem a little odd at first, it’s actually a reference to the iconic 1984 photoshoot when Michael Jordan was still considered to be rookie. In the campaign, he had a pair of early AJ1s that were designed in a similar way, so this has been created with the most loyal Jordan Brand fans in mind.

While not much else us known about the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black Toe Reimagined” at this moment in time, according to our sources, they’ll drop sometime this October. For your best chance to cop, make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps!
