First Look at the Supreme x Nike Air Max 1 “Black”

Supreme is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the greatest Nike collaborators in history. From the Air More Uptempo to the SB Dunk Low, the New York City-based streetwear label has worked on some of the greatest and most iconic sneakers under the sun. And just when you thought things couldn’t get more hyped, we get our first look at the upcoming Supreme x Nike Air Max 1 “Black.”

Revealed in a lookbook, James Jebbia’s first take on the legendary silhouette is exactly what you’d expect. Decked out in premium black leather throughout, a contrast white Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial sidewalls, while a mini one is also embroidered on the toebox. A limited edition steel dubrae keeps the laces locked in place, and all of this rests on top of a blacked out Air midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets.

All of this comes in a limited edition shoebox, and it’s packed with an exclusive hangtag that’s printed with the brand’s “World Famous Slogan.” According to our sources, the “Black” will release as part of a much wider Air Max 1 collection that includes three other colourways. These will be significantly brighter and more vibrant.
