First Look: Nike Air Max 1 “Neutral Grey” Pom Pom FB4959-121

Whilst 2022 is not officially over just yet, we can still look ahead to preview some Air Max 1 colourways dropping in 2023. It’s no secret that 2022 has been a very strong year for Air Max 1, with plenty of high heat new releases, collabs and re-releases dropping month after month. To kick off the next year we have something special, the Nike Air Max 1 “Neutral Grey”.

Dressed in muted tones, this colourway showcases it’s hints of vibrancy in the heel and outsole. Pom-pom laces also give the shoe something completely different, which may be a massive hit for some, but for many, may get an immediate lace swap.

The Nike Air Max 1 “Neutral Grey” features a Grey mesh base with suede overlays on the mudguard and Swoosh. An embroidered mini Swoosh appears on the forefoot in Blue, complementing the Nike label on the tongue.

The plastic top eyelets come in different colours, following the same design as the outsole.

Pom pom laces take the spotlight of this shoe, becoming the main theme as seen on the sockliner.

Dots on the heel panel underneath the Nike Air label feature Yellow, Pink, and Grey hues.

The waffle rubber outsole boasts Green, Pink, Yellow, and Grey accents to match the rest of the design.

This is probably a women’s exclusive colourway but this is unconfirmed as of now. We can expect official release information in early 2023 as Nike welcomes the New Year.
