First Look: Nike Air Max 1 “University Blue” FD9082-103

Nodding to MJ’s alma mater of the University of Carolina, the “University Blue” rocks a white mesh upper while a light grey overlay covers the midfoot and back. Suede fabrics make their way towards the the bright blue mudguard, complementing the Swoosh, Nike Air labels, lining, and eyelets.

Additional Nike Air labels appear on the black sockliner (a surprising decision considering the shoe comes in white) and the PU midsole returns in standard form, housing the hidden Air unit in the forefoot and exposing the heel Air bubble. While we hoped this shoe came out in Big Bubble form, it’s a welcome addition nonetheless.

According to our trust sources, the Nike Air Max 1 “University Blue” FD9082-103 is set to drop sometime in October 2023, and will be perfect to cop just in time for winter months.
