After months and months of rumours and teasers, the long-awaited Stash x Nike Air Max 95 is finally back. First introduced in 2006, it’s been revived just in time to celebrate its 18th birthday. But while the legendary graffiti artist could’ve just copied the original, he’s actually give it a contemporary revamp that old school and new school sneakerheads will definitely be able to appreciate.
In this updated edition, the signature anatomy-inspired design of the Air Max 95 sees a fresh mix of materials, replacing the OG’s full-suede construction with a combination of leathers and textiles. Not only does this give the sneaker a layered aesthetic, it also looks a lot more futuristic. And while Stash could’ve just left it there, he’s switched up the lacing system too so that the eyelets themselves are actually conceal within the upper itself.
But it’s not all change, as the speckled Nike Air midsole makes a triumphant return, and the artist’s iconic branding details shine through too. Stash’s signature hits tongues and insoles, and he also added a few reflective touches so you can flex even in low-light conditions.
With its upgraded materials and thoughtful nods to the original, the Stash x Nike Air Max 95 continues to celebrate the legacy of the artist while setting a new standard for collaborative footwear. Dropping on December 13th, they’ll be available at select Nike retailers, both in-store and online, as well as on Nike.com. Let us know if you’ll be going for these, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
