It’s been a minute since we last got an update on the Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC Reimagined,” and just when we thought all hope was lost, we’re now getting up close and personal with Jordan Brand‘s next “Reimagined” sneaker. Pulling directly from 1985’s beloved “UNC” colourway, which pays homage to Michael Jordan’s alma mater of the University of North Carolina, this might just be as hyped 2022’s “Lost & Found.”
Photos courtesy of Arizona’s Common Hype, the “UNC Reimagined” boasts a leather construction that’s as premium as it gets. Working on top of a crisp “White” base, it’s overlaid by “Dark Powder Blue” panels just like the OG from back in the day. Cracked detailing hits the collar for a vintage vibe, and this theme is further emphasised with the Nike Air midsole, that has been pre-yellowed.
But the retro vibes don’t end with the Air Jordan 1. The box comes with a distressed finish that’s been specifically designed to look like it’s just been dug out of storage.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC Reimagined” is set to drop on May 10th. Let us know if you’ll be going for these, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size.
