Hit the Ground Running With the New Balance 1500 “London Marathon”

Every year, New Balance marks the London Marathon with a special sneaker, and for 2025, the Boston-based sportswear giant is continuing this longstanding tradition with the New Balance 1500 “London Marathon”. Made in the brand’s factories in Flimby, Cumbria, it packs a punch and it looks good while doing it.

Working on top of a mesh base to keep your feet nice and ventilated while you’re on the go, this 1500 is overlaid by panels and panels of “Black” pigskin suede. Smooth grey leather wraps around the vamp section, and fiery orange accents hit the “N” logo, tongue branding, and the “LDN” lettering around the heel – short for “London,” just in case you didn’t know.

Inside, a soft cerulean lining adds subtle contrast, matching the marathon’s official gear for the year. All of this then rests on top of a crisp foam midsole, which has been infused with ENCAP technology to make those 26.2 miles a breeze.
