Over the past two or three years, clogs have become an essential addition to every sneaker rotation out there. Brands like Crocs and Yeezy have been completely dominating the game, with adidas and Nike following suit as well. Now, it looks like Jordan Brand is ready to jump in with the Jordan Roam “Sail” – and it’s unlike anything we’ve seen before.
Boasting a one-piece construction that’s crafted from dual-density foam, the “Sail” is dipped in an all-white colour palette that has summer written all over it. Perforations are dotted across the upper for better ventilation, and this is paired with a series of sleek lines and curves. While this design looks extremely futuristic, it’s actually inspired by the Jordan Trunner from the early 2000s.
Jumpman logos are stamped on the tongue, medial sidewall, and footbed, and all of this sits on top of an extra chunky midsole that makes every step feel like you’re walking on a plump cloud. As you’ll probably be rocking these poolside, Jordan Brand has also added a grippy rubber outsole that’s dipped in “Coconut Milk,” resulting in a very subtle yet very striking pop of contrast.
To top it all off, the Jordan Roam “Sail” comes in a special edition shoebox created exclusively for this release, adding an extra layer of uniqueness to this already distinctive pair of slip-ons. Expected to release in Summer 2024, make sure you keep it locked at Captain Creps to increase your chances of securing your size.
