Introduce Some Vintage Americana to Your Collection With the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Denim”

Even though the Air Force 1 Mid has been around for the better part of four decades, it continues to be one of the most sought-after basketball shoes on the market. Over the years, the Bruce Kilgore-designed icon has received countless reworks, but we’ve never seen anything quite like the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Denim.” Giving the mid-top silhouette a vintage-inspired makeover, keep on reading to find out everything that you need to know.

Unlike every other Air Force 1 Mid since the dawn of time itself (or, well, 1982), this one replaces the usual all-leather construction with denim.

Simple yet striking, the old school fabric makes its way throughout the entire trainer, from the toebox and the tongue, all the way to the ankle strap. The cotton laces are dipped in light blue, and this hue extends towards the eyelets and interior lining as well.

However, the American sportswear company hasn’t completely let go of the leather elements. In fact, the Nike Swoosh and heel badge are both decked out in the smooth and supple material. All of this rests on top of a chunky “Sail” Air midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets.

The sneaker is then rounded off with “Nike Air” branding that’s finely embroidered around the back, finalising the timeless design.

With its sophisticated mix of materials, thoughtful palette, and comfortable design, the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Denim” is poised to be one of the most sought-after colourways of the season.
