Lightning Strikes Twice With the Nike Air Max Plus “Eclair”

The Nike Air Max Plus “Eclair” is a real shocker. First released all the way back in the year 2000, it’s widely considered to be one of the great Air Max Plus ever made. And with its 25th birthday coming up just around the corner, Nike is set to bring it back in its original design, shape, and form.

Just like the OG, the upper is decorated with a crackling lightning graphic that stretches across the mesh base. Translucent TPU overlays sit on top, reinforcing the familiar structure of the Air Max Plus while keeping the design dynamic and layered. Silver Nike Swooshes add a sharp glint on the sides, working seamlessly with the pearl-like heel counter and reflective accents.

Beneath the surface, the Tuned Air midsole delivers on comfort and impact support, as always. A clean white base sets the stage for the red Air units, offering just enough contrast without overpowering the upper. All of this is then finished off with the iconic “Tn Air” badges that are set into the heel.
