Michael Jordan’s Racing Career Inspires the Air Jordan 4 RM “Motorsports”

Michael Jordan has lived many lives. Of course, we all know him and as one of the greatest NBA players of all-time, but he’s also dabbled in golf, baseball, and at one point in his life, he was also into superbike racing, too. And while we all know of the Air Jordan 4 “Motorsports” colourway, after eight years, the legendary sneaker is finally getting a sequel with the upcoming Air Jordan 4 RM “Motorsports.”

Just like the OG “Motorsports” from 2017, this AJ4RM keeps it clean. Working on top of a crisp white mesh base, it’s overlaid by light grey rubber panelling across the lateral and medial sidewalls. “Smoke Grey” suede hits the mudguard, while perforated leather embraces the toebox to keep things nice and breathable. The collar has also been padded for enhanced comfort.

Other special details include the “23” branding on the tongue. Not only is this a nod to his signature jersey number, the style is also inspired by decals you might find on a very fast motorcycle. A subtle “JORDAN” logo appears at the lateral rear, and all of this rests on top of a chunky Nike Air midsole for unrivalled comfort and cushioning with every step.
