The Phantaci x Nike Air Max 95 takes Sergio Lozano’s classic runner and reworks it through the creative lens of Jay Chou’s Taiwanese label. Inspired by Chou’s passion for music, the sneaker fuses instrument-inspired details with the Air Max 95’s iconic layered construction.

Dressed in a “Sanddrift/Brown/Black/Dark Driftwood” palette, the upper features wood grain-inspired patterns along the side panels, transitioning from lighter tones at the base to darker shades closer to the tongue. Leather reinforcement around the toe continues the theme, while mesh and suede create depth. In place of the standard lace loops, Nike introduces an elastic FlyWire-like system that extends beneath the upper for added support and a nod to the strings of a guitar.

Storytelling runs through every detail. A Nike-branded guitar pick hang tag accompanies the pair, tying back to Chou’s identity as a multi-instrumentalist. The midsole remains understated, allowing the upper to stand out, while Phantaci branding hits the outsole.

This release follows Phantaci’s earlier collaborations with Nike, including their sought-after “Grand Piano” Air Max 1. The Phantaci x Nike Air Max 95 set to drop Winter 2025.
