When we hear about the return of iconic Air Max colourways, it always excites us at Captain Creps UK. Whilst not an original colourway, the Nike Air Max 97 “Gold Bullet” still goes down as one of the greats. Drawing inspiration from the OG “Silver Bullet”, this rendition takes it up a notch literally in podium rankings. And now, the “Gold Bullet” AM97 joins the rest of the colourways in the line-up for the 25th anniversary re-releases
Coming back for the first time in 2018, let’s check out the official photos of this 2022 edition. This year has been outstanding for Nike Air Max 97 releases and this upcoming drop follow suit. We can’t wait for the rest of the upcoming pairs!
Just like the OG “Silver Bullet”, the “Gold Bullet” flaunts hints of Red, Black, and White accents. But this time, the entire upper appears in a premium Metallic Gold colour scheme. The leather mudguard, lightweight mesh, and wavy panels come dressed in shiny Gold pigments. Red Swoosh labels on the sides and tongue stick to the warm-coloured theme of the shoe.
Just like most Air Max 97 colourways, the water ripple panels feature reflective details thanks to the 3M Reflective upper. This adds flair to the already dazzling sneaker.
Air Max labels on the heel pull tab appear in Gold.
Black and White patterns on the waffle outsole complete the design of this classic colour scheme.
Set for a Fall 2022 release, stay tuned for this Nike Air Max 97 “Gold Bullet” along with the “Silver Bullet” 97 and more upcoming Air Max 97 colourways. We can’t wait for what Nike has in store for the last few months of the year!
