First Look: Nike Air Max 97 Terrascape “Mustard Yellow Blue”

A vibrant rendition of the environmentally-friendly Air Max 97 Terrascape is set to surface in the final month of the year. Whilst 2022 has been a big one for the Air Max 1 and the Air Force 1, with both celebrating key anniversaries, a lot of attention this year has fallen to the launch of the Terrascape revamps of key Air Max silhouettes.

Below we have the official images of the Nike Air Max 97 Terrascape “Mustard Yellow Blue”. Featuring a wild multicolour combo of Blue, Yellow, and Burgundy. This one’s for the peacocks!

Let’s check out the rest of the official images below as we await official release details from Nike.

Going into the details, the shoe features a textile mudguard in Dark Blue. Hints of Burgundy make up the wavy panel above it, as well as the tongue and Air Max air unit. Mustard Yellow comprises the mesh base of the upper, and the Swoosh on the rear.

Fans of Kobe Bryant’s styles may recognise this colourway’s resemblance to the Nike Kobe 8 “Barcelona”.

Modern Nike labels adorn the tongue using the 60s typeface seen previously on past Terrascape releases and the recent Air Max 90 “Psychedelic Pack”. Terrascape branding appears on the heel pull tab, while another one hides inside the colourful sockliner made of recycled materials.

The Black Crater foam midsole consists of colourful speckles throughout, seen commonly in Nike Grind, showcasing Nike’s use of raw recycled materials in their new cushioning technology.

The outsole combines Black and Yellow pigments to finish off the design.

We still have no confirmed release date for the Nike Air Max 97 Terrascape “Mustard Yellow Blue”. But stay tuned for more updates as we can expect this shoe’s arrival sometime in the coming months.
